Gregory Davis

January 16, 1961 — June 2, 2022

Denver

Davis, Gregory J, age 61, of Denver, CO, passed away June 2, 2022, at his home in Cherry Creek North. He was born January 16, 1961, in Brookings, SD, and graduated from Arapahoe High School and the University of Colorado with honors. He co-founded U-Trau, Inc., building it from a business in the basement of his parents’ house to one of the country’s major suppliers of imprint clothing for college bookstores and resorts. He loved the CU Buffs, the Avs, and the Broncos, and worshiped “John-Elway-the-greatest-quarterback-who-ever-lived.” But his greatest loves of all were his Labrador retrievers: Maggie, Molly, Mable, and Mildred. Mildred survives him. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Davis, and his brother, Gary Davis. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Davis, sister Kathy (Hazen) Graves, sister-in-law Janie Davis, and beloved nieces and nephews Nicholas (Keri) Graves, Samuel Graves, Lexi Davis, Maddie Davis, and Meggie Davis. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 9, at 4:30 pm at Horan McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road (west of Holly St). Memorials to Bergen Spay & Neuter Alliance, bergenspayandneuter.org .
