Gretta June Johnson, age 72, of Centennial, Colorado, died at a Littleton, Colorado hospital after suffering a stroke. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, and bird and butterfly watching. She was born August 2, 1936 at Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of Arnold and Iras (Kreider) Davidson. Gretta was married at Clay Center, Kansas on November 28, 1954 to Gordon D. Johnson. She is a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She is survived by her - Husband: Gordon Johnson of Centennial, CO Sons: Dr. Gary (Rhonda) Johnson of Springfield, IL, Paul (Gail) Johnson of Morganville, KS, and Dr. Robert Johnson of Shawnee, KS Siblings: LaDonna Kretz of Salina, KS, Marion (Jay) Mellies of Clay Center, KS and Vonley (Roberta) Davidson of Abilene, KS Grandchildren: Andrew Johnson of Overland Park, KS, Warren Johnson of the U.S. Marine Corps, Claire and Grace Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, Ben, Nick and Audrey Johnson of Shawnee, KS She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Viewing beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Clay Center United Methodist Church, 5th & Clark in Clay Center, Kansas.
