G.R. "Mac" Mcintire

G.R. "Mac" McIntire - Resident of Littleton, CO

Born in Pasadena, California on November 22nd, 1940 to Lon and Gayle McIntire. Mac is survived by his wife of 55 years JoEllen, son Mark (and wife Angie) of Cedaredge, CO, son David (and wife Jennifer) of Denver, CO, and grandchildren Reganne, Kacey and Logan.

Born and raised in Southern California, Mac attended Claremont McKenna College before graduating from Oregon State University where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. After completing Officer Candidate School with the U.S. Navy, he served as an Intelligence Specialist stationed at Pearl Harbor. Mac was awarded the National Service Defense Medal, and was honorably discharged from active duty in 1968 and the Naval Reserves in 1974. Moving to Colorado in 1981, Mac enjoyed working as a Contractor in construction until his retirement. One of Mac's great honors was serving on the Board of Directors for The Argyle assisted living facility in Denver for many years. Mac will be laid to rest in Ft. Logan Cemetery in Denver, where visitation will be possible in summer 2021.
