Gurmej Kaur Sandhu

Gurmej Kaur Sandhu, age 88, passed away on August 7th, 2015, in Aurora, Colorado. She was born on February 14th, 1927 in Lyallpur, Punjab, India. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Parshan Singh Sandhu, her late granddaughters, Mandeep Kaur Takhar and Amneet Kaur Sandhu. Gurmej is survived by her daughters, Balbir Kaur Takhar, Harpinder Kaur Purewal, her son Harjinder Singh Sandhu, her grandchildren Gurminder Kaur Kellnhofer, Sandeep Kaur Sakhon, Arminder Singh Purewal, Balvinder Kaur Takhar, Sumreet Kaur Sandhu, Bailey Singh Sandhu and her great-grandchildren Jazlin Kaur Sakhon, Obi Singh Purewal, Otto Singh Kellnhofer and Mili Kaur Purewal. Gurmej was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all her beloved children. She was a kind, sweet lady who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at 2:00pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel located at 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue in Aurora, Colorado 80014. Following the funeral services, prayer services will be held at Colorado Singh Sabha, 20555 East 120th Avenue in Commerce City, Colorado 80022.
