Harold Chantker

Harold was Born to Rose May and Samuel Chantker, he was raised in Washington DC with his younger brother Art.
In March 1953 he joined the Air National Guard, after basic training he was discharged and served in the reserves till April 1958. In August of 1959 he enlisted in the Navy and served in serval position and locations, including the Philippines, the air craft carrier the USS Kittyhawk, Norfolk Naval base and Lowry Air Force base until retiring in July of 1982.
Hal was married 3 times. In the first part of his naval career, he married Joyce and had two daughters Beverly and Laura.
His second marriage was to Gladys, and he became a stepfather to Shawnda and Rick.
In retirement his third marriage was to Jeanette Michaelson. During that marriage he was stepfather to Stephanie and Tanya. Jeanette departed after a battle with cancer leaving Hal a widower.
He has ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren that he loved to tell stories to.

Interment, 12:00 pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
