HAROLD V. HARVEY

February 5, 1906 — April 19, 2004

Harold V. Harvey, a Denver Post executive passed away April 19, 2004 at the age of 98. Mr. Harvey began delivering newspapers at the Denver Post at the age of 13 and rose to the position of Superintendent Rotogravier and Photo Engraving. He was in charge of the Empire Magazine. Mr. Harvey was an amateur boxer winning two middleweight championships. He was also a prominent Denver model. He was often seen as the 'Father Of The Bride'. Mr. Harvey is survived by 4 daughters, Nancy DeLara of Mexico City, Jacque Compton, Sherry Picote and Deborah Rhodes all of Denver; his brother William Harvey of Texas; he also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel and 2 daughters Pat Morren and Kathleen Filter. Memorial service, Sunday 3:00pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Rd.
