He loved his time teaching career at Niskayuna and spending the rest of his time off at his home in Vermont, which he and his family built. Hal and Agnes celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this past September in the company of family and friends here in Colorado. Hal's passion was spending his life in the outdoors hunting, fishing and photographing wildlife, so his time in Colorado the past 20+ years will filled with the activities he loved so much. For several years he also owned and operated and self-serve carwash, which satisfied his desire to build things and tinker with equipment. The balance of his time was spent exploring and photographing the National and State Parks in and around Colorado with his wife, dog and family. Hal also made several trips to Alaska fishing and was a very successful big game hunter. Now that he is no longer fishing or making his special lures, the fish have a chance. Hal was one of those very special people and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
