Harold Alan Wheeldon

Harold ""Harry"" A. Wheeldon (USAF, Ret.), 76, passed away November 1, 2013. Moved to the United States from Manchester, England when he was 15. He enlisted in the Air Force and retired as Senior Master Sergeant after 27 years of service. When he retired he went to work as a Logistical Engineer for 21 years at Lockheed-Martin. Harry was a social person who enjoyed life, gardening, painting, writing, hunting, dancing, church, family, and the company of good friends. Beloved father of Deborah L. (Douglas) Close, Grierson A. Wheeldon and Julie A. (James) Cook; and proud grandfather of Weston Close, Maleah Wheeldon, Chloe Cook and Sienna Cook. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 12, 12:30 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora.
