Harold “Red” Raymond Aldrich, 94, passed away June 23, 2022, in Denver, Colorado.
He was born October 30, 1927, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Raymond and Effie Aldrich.
A proud graduate of Clark University, and honorably discharged from the US Army he put down roots in Denver, Colorado and married Clara Fletcher in 1952. Harold’s career was helping other veterans as a Veterans Rehabilitation Counselor with the Department of Veterans Affairs from which he retired.
Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was the patriarch of his family and loved them all dearly. Harold was also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He enjoyed bowling, walking and playing poker.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Clara Aldrich, who affectionately called him Red.
He is survived by children, Brenda Goodin, Pamela and Steve Sauls, and Denard Aldrich; sister Marion Evans; Grandchildren: Candace, Mekea, Donald, Dawnyell, Heather, Brittany, Tenea, Denard Lee, Patrice; and Great Grandchildren: Cavasi, Taraja, Caden, Kalani, Amaya, Denard Lee Jr., Navaeh, Tatiana, and Amari Lee, Paolo Lumitao, Donald Jr.
Graveside Service will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, July 14 at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
