Harry L. Auston

Longtime Highlands Ranch, CO resident Harry L Auston passed away Thursday February 28, 2019. Harry was born on March 10, 1937 in Detroit, MI to parents Harry and Viola Auston.

Harry graduated high school in 1955 and continued to advance his education and graduated from Detroit Business Institute with a Bachelor of Commercial Science Degree in 1958.

Harry was an owner of Fringe Benefit Services, Inc., a third party administrator of employee benefit plans since 1972 until his retirement in 2017. He also was involved with the William B. O'Rourke Foundation which gives grants to Colorado companies to help with vision care to those who are in need. He was on the Board of Trustees for more than 20 years.

Harry is survived by nephews Jack (Jodi) Auston, Tom (Karen) Auston, Derek (Cheri) Auston, and Mark (Sue) Abram, nieces Bashama, MaryAnne (Tom) Watson, Karen (Chris) Petersen and Genie Abram, sister in law Sandy Auston, stepdaughter Tracey (Keith) Long, stepson Norman Bass III, step-granddaughter Brittney Moore and his beloved dog Tabitha.

Harry enjoyed playing cards, bowling, sudoku puzzles, going to dinner and enjoyed making you laugh with a joke, he was a kind and generous man to those who knew him.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Pat, sister Phillis Abram, brother Jack Auston Sr. and nephew John Abram.

Harry touched many peoples lives and will be missed by all.
