Hartley E. âBudâ Farnum 87 of Aurora, Colorado died December First, 2017. He was born July 30, 1930 in Rumford Maine to Mildred and Roger. Bud is survived by his son Craig of Denver Colorado his brother Richard Powell of Turner Maine, his niece Rosann Barentson of Denver, nephew Rodney Powell of Turner Maine and niece Lisha Tremblay of Turner Maine. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Anna. Bud grew up in Maine and following high school, enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served during the Korean War, Viet Nam and through the 1970âs until his retirement from the Air Force in 1979. Bud married Anna B. Blohm of Audubon, Iowa, in 1956. They were married 60 years. Their son, Craig was born in 1961. Bud loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and hunting. Bud and Ann joined the National Campers and Hikers Association (later to become the Family Campers and RVers) in 1967 and were active members for 50 years.
