Harvey Junior Gariepy

Harvey J. Gariepy passed away with his loving wife Karen Michele at his side, at his home in Denver, Colorado on October 14, 2015. Harvey was 80 years old. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 37 years who was always at his side, Karen Michele. He is preceded in death by his father Harvey Joshua and mother Rose Hart, brother Albert Raymond and son Gregory Allen Gariepy. He is survived by his brother Fred Eugene, sister Shirley Janette Sluder, brothers-in-laws; Kenneth L. Browning and Johnny Sluder, and father-in-law Les L. Browning. Harvey was a Computer Specialist and worked for the National Park service for 35 years. He retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of honorable service. He loved to golf, fish, and travel. Funeral Services will be held at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014 on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. A Committal Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Please meet at Staging Area B. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Denver Dumb Friends League, 2080 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80231.
