Hazel Von Feldt

Hazel Von Feldt peacefully entered eternal life March 15, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 30th 1928 to Clovis and Ola Royer in Vinton, Louisiana, Mom came to Colorado at the tender age of 18 and married the love of her life Joseph Von Feldt.  They were married July 7, 1947 until he passed in July 1998.

She stayed busy by raising 6 children and she loved tending her garden and working in the yard. She was an avid bowler and loved staying active. She looked forward to the weekend and our trips to the family cabin in the mountains where she went on numerous walks and hikes with her children and  grandchildren.  She would love to sled down the road with the kids and play horse shoes and cook out in the summer time. She also looked forward to her trips back home to Winnie, Texas to see her family who she held close to her heart. She loved the trips to the beach and just being back home.

She is survived by her children Larry (Hobe), Jackie Lucero (Ted), Daniel (Patti), Herbert (Pam) Mitchell, Chris (Jamie) and 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson and sister Joyce Ann Kiker.  Preceded in death by sisters Mary Beatrice Mott, Rosie Latta, and Wilfred Royer.

Viewing will be Thursday March 30, 2023 , 4:00 pm with rosary starting at 6:00 pm, Horan McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd.  Funeral Mass Friday March 31, 2023 at 10:00am with burial following at 12:00pm,  Fort Logan National Cemetery. Reception will follow burial at Littleton Elks Club #1650, 5749 S. Curtice Street, Littleton CO 80120.  Please park in the South lot only.
