Heather ""Nicole"" Capra, 39, of Aurora, CO passed away at Denver Hospice Monday June 13, 2016 from complication of breast cancer. She was born in Durham, NC, January 1977 to Billy and LouAnn Tillotson. Married to Andrew Capra in 2000, Nicole was a loving wife and devoted mother of two wonderful children Carley and Drew Capra. She lived her life to support these two kids in their school work, sports and hobbies. There was never a day that she would not show her love and compassion for her family. Nicole enjoyed many hobbies including scrapbooking, camping, swimming, and roller derby. In 2009 she started to compete in a roller derby league out of Castle Rock, CO. Later she moved on to the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls out of Denver, CO where she became a member of their travel team. Nicole retired from the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls in October of 2015 so that she could spend more time with her family. Nicole touched many lives throughout her life which was very apparent when over 200 friends and family visited her at The Denver Hospice in the week leading up to her passing. Many enjoyed her smile, compassion, loyalty, loving nature, generosity and her fierce competitive fire. Nicole had a generous and giving heart and would give all she had if necessary to help someone in need. Nicole would be the first to offer your child a ride home from school or to offer advise to a dear friend. She loved to teach the neighborhood kids how to swim as well as lounging by the pool in her own peaceful way. Nicole will be greatly missed by her husband, Andrew Capra; daughter Carley Capra; son Drew Capra; father Billy Tillotson; mother LouAnn Tillotson; brother Lance Tillotson; sister in-law Terri Tillotson; supportive extended family members including the Emory's, Aweida's, Sweeney's, Capra's, Karras' and Cowen's; numerous devoted friends; and her compassionate dog Koda.
