Hedwig Brem McElvain

Hedwig, 92, of Aurora, CO, passed on October 3, 2017. She was born on August 28, 1925 to her parents, Max & Anna Brem in Germany. Hedwig was deeply devout in her faith, a loving mother, and kind friend to many. Hedwig is survived by her children, Brenda (Jim Johnson) McElvain of Colorado, Frank (Sharon) McElvain of California, and Larry McElvain of Texas; two grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John R. McElvain. A Memorial Service will be held in Hedwig's memory on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO 80246. A Reception & Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery will take place immediately following the services. Please share memories and condolences with the family below.
