Helen Strong Anderson

Helen Strong Anderson was born on 10/21/23 in Pueblo, Co. Passed away on 7/26/17 in Westminster , Co. under the loving care of Seasons Hospice of Westminster. Helen’s family moved to Denver where she attended schools Annunciation, Cole & graduated from Manual High School in 1942. Helen met her first husband, Al Strong, at Manual & they married shortly after graduation. They had two children, Sherri Webster of Arvada, Colorado & Frank Strong 3rd of Gering, Nebraska. Al preceded Helen in death in 1978. In 1983 Helen Married Rex Anderson of Westminster, Colorado & embraced his two adult children, Dave Anderson of Westminster & Chris Gingras of Reno, Nevada into the family fold. Helen was one of six children of Andrew Demshki & Helen Harney. Brothers Andrew & Ed Demshki and sister Gladys Smith preceded Helen in death. Her surviving siblings are Bob Demshki of California & Eleanor Demshki of Aurora, Colorado. She is also survived by her two children, Sherri Webster & Frank Strong 3rd, & his wife, Jody, Helen’s two step children, Dave Anderson, Chris Gingras & her husband, Ken, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & 1 great- great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, 8/1, from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 8/2, 10am. Both of these services will take place at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada. Entombment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in the Tower of Memories.
