Helen Rose Burns

Helen Rose McGee Burns, 82, passed away January 1, 2007, in Aurora, Colorado. Helen was born February 22, 1924, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of William and Rose O'Brien McGee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Charles Burns; son, Danny Burns; and granddaughter, Jillien Pendragon. Helen is survived by her eight children: Nancy Jurgens, Kathleen McGee, Jeanne Lewis (and her husband, Ken), Donna Linson, Maureen Hart, Susan Burns, Lori Burns, Jim Burns (and his wife, Betsy); grandchildren: Shane Reynolds, Dusty and Holly Jurgens, Dylan, Miguel and Rory Barnes, Benjamen Fishman, Christian and Aaron Nafziger, Rose Burns, Nicole and Joey Burns, Paige and Alex Burns. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 4th, 2007, beginning at 4:00pm, followed by a Rosary at 6:30pm, at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5th, 2007, at 10:30am, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 1243 Kingston Street, in Aurora. A lunch will follow the service at the Church. Burial, Mount Olivet Cemetery.
