Helen D'Andria

September 5, 1948 — January 17, 2022

Helen D’Andria (formerly Helen Linquanti), 73, passed away on Monday, January 17, after a nearly 15-year battle with breast and lung cancers.

Born September 5, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, Helen moved to Denver in the mid-1970s.  She was a legal administrative assistant most of her career, retiring only 2 years ago from Dorsey & Whitney LLP.  Helen was famously strong-willed, loved traveling and photography, and had a special fondness for cats and wild birds.  She earned her certification at the Denver Paralegal Institute and then went on to earn her B.S. degree from Colorado Women’s College at the University of Denver, where she was class president.  She successfully battled breast cancer and then lung cancer, with the loving help of her friends Sally Roach and Geoff Cullen, before succumbing to a final bout with breast cancer.

Helen will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sisters Kim Pickerill of Louisville, Kentucky, Dietra Kemmer of Tallahassee, Florida and Deanna Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, her step-mother Carolyn Dandria of Tallahassee, Florida, and her nephew and nieces.

Please share memories of Helen and condolences with her family by signing the Tribute Wall above.
