Helen E. Leete

Helen E. Leete, 89, died June 2, 2015, at Sky Ridge Hospital, Lone Tree, CO. She was born September 15, 1925, in Stady, ND, to Henry and Effie Solberg. Her family moved to a farming community east of Brockton, MT. Later they moved to Poplar where she graduated from high school. Helen married Bob Leete in October, 1944. They spent many years farming near Outlook and the Mineral Bench area. In 1961 they bought a home in Littleton, CO where they spent the winters. Helen and Bob had two children: Gary (Cori) of Lone Tree, CO, and Violet Snell (Charles) of San Antonio, TX. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Tom Leete, Erin Pulling (Rich), Amy Dearmore (Josh), Joseph Hayes (Amber), Robbie Hayes (Kerry), and six great grandchildren. Helen's surviving siblings are Lyla Krone, Denver, CO; Irene Askelson (Ben), Cut Bank, MT; Larry Solberg (Marilyn), Lusk, WY; and Roy Solberg (Betty), Big Sandy, MT. Helen is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and siblings Alice, Milly, Ordean, and Mable. Services will be held at Fulkerson Funeral Home in Plentywood, MT, on Monday, June 22, at 3 p.m. followed by a reception at Angel Light Catering, 644 Sunnyside at 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Poplar City Cemetery at 7:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Glenwood, Inc Center 640 Laurel Ave. Plentywood, MT 59254 Or to the charity of your choice.
