Helen O'Connor

Helen passed away peacefully on September 23, 2020, after 93 years of a busy, loving, and full life on this earth.

She was never a woman for too much ceremony - she saved her energy for her work and her family. Occasionally, she'd find time to go bowling, play cards, and watch "Let's Make a Deal" or "Judge Judy."

Helen's mother passed when Helen was only thirteen years old, meaning Helen then took care of her three younger brothers. They stayed incredibly close for the rest of their lives, as she outlived all of her little brothers.

Her other biggest pride and joy was her work - she was the backbone of the prestigious Le Petit Gourmet Catering with her husband Ervin and brother William Bown. As everyone put it, her main job was to make the rest of the family look good. She did such a good job - and was so aware of this - she wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone "I'm the boss," if anyone asked what her role was in either work or family.

There will be a visitation this Wednesday, September 30, 2020 starting at 4pm until 7pm at the H&M Colorado Boulevard Family Chapel: 1091 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver CO 80246.

A recitation of the rosary will follow immediately at 7pm.
