Helen Petrich

Helen Rose Petrich, 92, passed away on April 9, 2022 in Arvada, CO. A consummate mother and homemaker, Helen loved cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Wednesday night dinners were a staple during her time in Colorado – much anticipated and cherished by everyone. The great food, desserts, conversation and spirited card games will be sorely missed. She also enjoyed watching classic movies and traveling – including the occasional trip to the casino. Helen held an abiding love for family and faith in God. Her selfless concern for the well-being of others will continue to inspire everyone who knew and loved her.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert Petrich, son Ron Petrich, parents Fred and Madeline Huber, and sister Gloria Cornelius. She is survived by her children: Bob Petrich, Arvada, CO; Patti Smith (husband Brad), Highlands Ranch, CO; Gary Petrich (wife Cindy), Papillion, NE; Joe Petrich (wife Susan), Overland Park, KS; Steve Petrich (wife Virginia), Arvada, CO; Jamie Petrich (wife Danielle), Northglenn, CO; and Julie Petrich, Little Falls, MN; sisters: Joyce Vesco (husband Bob), Green River, WY; Nita Clemens (husband Bob), Arvada, CO; and Peggy Lowery, Arvada, CO; and brother Fred Huber, Sisseton, SD. She leaves 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
