Helen Barbara Pulk 90, went to be with the Lord in her forever home on November 21, 2018 joyfully reuniting with her husband Cal of 63 years. Helen was born on July 16, 1928 to Tony and Frances Lecheler in Elmwood, Wisconsin. Helen graduated from St. Frances School of Nursing in 1949 and married John Calvin "" Cal"" Pulk on June 10, 1950. Together they raised 6 children: Danny, Tom, Billee, Roch, Peter, and Ann. Helen lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois moving several times supporting Cal in his career with Conoco, finally settling in Centennial, Colorado in 1976. Helen's last move was to Parker, Colorado in 2015. Throughout these moves Helen continued her career as an RN working in various areas of nursing. Helen was proud of her profession and reminded her caregivers of that often, leading to lively discussions.Helen was an accomplished bridge player beginning with the St. Thomas college gang ( forever friends) and continuing with friends at Southglenn and South Suburban. Helen pursued golf (a long time desire) after her move to Colorado. Helen and Cal enjoyed antiquing together, always searching for that next collectible.
