Helen Faye (Houston) Rogers passed away May 11, 2013, at Lifecare of Stonegate in Parker, Colorado. Faye was a lifelong resident of Fort Morgan. Her husband Stafford preceded her in death. Born May 18, 1927, to Minnie and Walter Houston, Faye grew up on the family ranch in Buckingham, Colorado, along with her three brothers and three sisters. She graduated from high school in 1944 and went on to further her education by attending college in Sterling, Colorado. She was a legal secretary, medical records secretary and banker assistant. She met and married Stafford Rogers and together they moved to Fort Morgan. They had four daughters. She enjoyed her family and loved having her children and grandchildren around her. Faye also enjoyed cooking, reading, playing the piano, even taking lessons at age 80, researching genealogy and watching sports. Faye was a member of Eastern Star and held the office of Worthy Matron, Presbyterian Church. Faye is survived by her brother Ben Houston, sister Lourene Miller and her daughters Sally (Gary) Gunther of Colorado Springs, Susan (Steve) Beil of Gillette, Wyoming, Sharon (Dan) McBride of Highlands Ranch, and Sylvia (Mike) Gibbons of Parker. Other surviving family include grandchildren Mark (Demeri) Beil of Boise, Idaho, Matthew (Kara) Beil of Puyallup, Washington, Laura (Prabu) Segaran of Hilo, Hawaii, and three great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 1:00 pm at the United Presbyterian Church, 1300 East Riverview, Fort Morgan, Colorado.
