Helen Charlotte Yerly

Helen, 94, passed June 5, 2013. Devoted Wife, Loving Mother, Cherished Grandmother & Beloved Sister Helen was born in Barnum, Minnesota on May 13, 1919, but in moving to Colorado, loved the beauty of the Colorado mountains and enjoyed camping and hiking. Helen raised and showed Shelties in the Denver area. She retired from United Bank of Denver (Wells Fargo). A longtime member of Northglenn United Methodist Church, she belonged to the Yellow Rose Church Group, where whe particpated in many charitable activities. Helen enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and attending their events throughout their school years. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell, whom she loved and cared for for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Kenneth) Thiesen; and grandchildren, Brent & Jason. Memorial Service in her honor will be Thursday, June 20, 2013, 11:00 AM, Northglenn United Methodist Church, 1605 West 106th Avenue, Northglenn, Colorado 80234.
