Helene ""Leny"" Luethy

Helene ""Leny"" Luethy died June 25, 2016 just 11 hours shy of her 93rd birthday. Helene was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Otto in 1983. They immigrated to America from Switzerland in 1949 and owned Luethy's Kitchen, a popular North Denver diner for 25 years. Helen is survived by four daughters: Marianne Vessely (Tom), Marilyn Turner (Mike, deceased), Elisabeth Luethy and Michelle Luethy; five grandchildren: Mark Vessely (Christina), Stephanie Vessely, Michael Vessely (Janae), Brian Turner, Scott Turner; great grand twins, Tanner and Elsa Vessely; and sisters Dorli Hurlimann (Walter) and Hilda Huber as well as several nieces and nephews in Zurich, Switzerland. Helene lived her life with conviction, integrity & generosity and her enthusiasm for living never waned. We shall forever miss her love, spirit and adorable Swiss accent. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, July 1st at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 969 Ulysses St., Golden, CO. Reception to follow.
