Helenrae Wilson Kogel

Helenrae Wilson Kogel, 89, passed away September 30, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Helenrae was a smart woman who graduated from Purdue University at a time when few women went to college. She became a gifted knitter, crafting beautiful sweaters which her family still happily wear. Her appreciation of flowers was deep, and many a tulip and daffodil bulb pop up every spring to pass on her energy. Mom loved her kids and her kids loved her. She remains in our hearts and minds. She is survived by her children: Ken (Debby) Browning, of Florissant, CO; Linda Rae (Bill) Griffin, Weekapaug, Rhode Island; and her granddaughter, Ashley Griffin.
