Herman D. Cooper

Herman D. Cooper, 81, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on July 1, 2019.

Born August 26, 1937 in Dunkirk, New York, Herman was a graduate of the Dunkirk High School class of 1956. He served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty-eight years until retiring. In his retirement, Herman enjoyed bowling, golfing and visiting the Casino.

Survivors include his brother, Robert Cooper, many nieces and nephews, and many friends and neighbors. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Lenore Cooper; wife, Takako Cooper; and his siblings, Alan Cooper, Donna Cooper, Gerald “Jerry” Cooper, Joan McKies, and Nancy Montalvo.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on the following Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. Herman will be interred at Fairmount Cemetery.
