Herman J. Leiker

Herman Joseph Leiker passed away on Thursday April 26, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was 88 years young. Survived by sons Tom (Janet) and John (Jan); grandchildren Diana, John, Patrick, and Jeremy; sister Eleanor, and many that looked upon him as their Father and Grandfather. He was born on October 29, 1923 in Park, Kansas to Peter and Elizabeth Leiker. He honorably served in WWII. He came to Colorado where he met his Wife, Lillian. They were married for 53 years until her passing in 1999. His greatest passion was his family. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012, 4:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 11:00 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80219. Interment to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
