Hersey Thomas Grant Jr.

Hersey Thomas Grant Jr., 65, of Arvada, passed away June 20, 2017. Tom was born October 18, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, the son of Hersey Thomas Grant, Sr. and Doris Ann Grant (McKinnies). He is survived by 3 sons, Andy, Chris and Phil Grant, 2 sisters, Kathy Grant and Janet Fiedler (Grant), 2 nieces, Kerri Fiedler and Kelly Fiedler Porter. He was a great-uncle to Grant and Emerson Porter. He is preceded in death by his parents. Tom was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, the Community College of Denver (A.S., Respiratory Therapy), and Regis University (B.S., Business Management). He worked as a Respiratory Therapist for over forty years and was a respected professional in the Rocky Mountain region. Tom enjoyed fishing and camping, the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He was especially proud watching his boys play sports and music. He also was very fond of his dogs - Boris, Hooch, Max and Cole. Tom will be remembered as a quiet and kind man, who struggled physically, but has found the strength for the long road home. He will be missed. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Two O'Clock in the afternoon at the home of Mark and Jan Fiedler, 7947 South Vance Court, Littleton, Colorado 80128.
