Hobart Munson Corning, Jr.

Hobart Munson Corning, Jr., 90, passed away March 8, 2006, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Born August 7, 1915, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to Florence Rebecca Kisner and Hobart Munson Corning. Hobart is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn 'Katie' White Corning, of Golden, CO; daughter, Holly (husband, Paul) Knight; son, Hobart (wife, Elaine) Munson Corning III; daughter-in-law, Joan Corning Laden; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher David Corning, and by two sisters. A Funeral Service for Hobart will be held on Monday, March 13, 2006, at 10:00am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, W. 32nd Ave & McIntyre, in Golden. A visitation will be held at the Church just prior to the services from 9:00-9:45am. Interment, Crown Hill Cemetery.
