Hobie Landreth was born on December 26, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents, Hobart & Patricia Landreth. He died November 6, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. Hobie was a curator of an eclectic mix of people. He had a wide array of friends whom he treasured and respected. He also collected knives and a firearm or two. Hobie always made time for anyone who needed it.
Hobie said that the birth of his niece Clara brought him to Colorado, and the birth of his nephew Adam kept him here. Clara and Adam were the pride and joy of his life. As a Veteran Army Ranger, Hobie was proud of his personal service to our country. He appreciated the many who have served and cared deeply for his brothers in arms.
Hobie is survived by his brother, Phillip Landreth (Jennifer Gedde), niece, Clara Landreth, and nephew, Adam Landreth of Denver, Colorado; his step-mother, Janet Landreth of Fort Collins, Colorado; and his aunt, Betty Posey of Seminole, Oklahoma.
Hobie is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Patrick Landreth; his aunt, Betty Springs; and uncles, Albert âBootsâ Williams, Lloyd Williams, and Roy Williams.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at two-fifteen in the afternoon at Northgate Event Center, 3880 South Lowell Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. A reception will follow.
