Horace J. Brown

Horace James Brown, 88 of Aurora, passed away Friday May 21, 2010 in Aurora. He was born January 1, 1922 in Ida Grove, Iowa to Clifford C. and Mary (Smith) Brown. Horace served in the Army Air Corp from 1942 to 1945 during WWII. He worked as an over the road truckdriver and foreman for Navajo Freight. Horace married Leona Cardwell who preceded him in 1991. Horace was an avid fisherman. He is survived by a son and daughter in law; Jim and Linda Brown of Aurora, two daughters; Sue Killinger of Colorado Springs and Patti and Paul Deloach of Agate, CO. Brothers; Donald and Charles Brown and sister Mabel Teddlie. 12 Grandchildren and a ""Passel"" of great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM - Wednesday - May 26, 2010 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Littleton. Family and friends meet at the entrance to the cemetery at 9:45 AM - Wed. 5/26
