Howard A. Darnell

Howard Arthur Darnell, 53, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on December 15, 2019 after a long illness.

Howard was born on April 17th to Linda Darnell in Omaha Nebraska. After graduating from SEMCO in 1984, he joined the U.S. Army Reserves and went on to study Communications at Iowa State University, receiving a Bachelor's degree.

During his years in school he rode in many of the first years of RAGBAI, Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. Howard continued that love of biking into College and beyond.

After graduation, he landed his first job at TCI communications, kicking off over 30 years in television. He spent many years with TCI communications and went on to join the crew at Starz/Encore.

In 2005 Howard was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Marissa Darnell. Marissa was Howard's pride and joy.

Howard was predeceased by his mother Linda Darnell, brother Harold Ryan, and nephew Noah Ryan. He is survived by his daughter Marissa Darnell, Uncle Joseph, Darnell, uncle Roger Darnell, Uncle Kent Darnell, Aunt Gaylene Thatcher, Aunt Susanne Reisz, Sister-in-law Michelle Ryan, Niece Danae Prunty, Niece Holi Ryan, and Nephew Logan Ryan, and many cousins.
