Hugo Barillas

Hugo Antulio Barillas aka Tilin, son of Mateo Barillas and Maria Concepcion Gil, passed away in his home on Saturday, November 14th, 2020, in Denver, Colorado.

Hugo was born in Amatitlan, Guatemala on October 9th, 1956.  He had three brothers and four sisters.

He enjoyed watching soccer from all leagues, camping, fishing, hiking, going for walks at the beach, bike riding.  He loved cooking and hosting a get-together, so that others could enjoy his delicious food.  When he was younger, he loved swimming and playing soccer.

Hugo was deeply loved by a big family and many friends.  He will be remembered as a very friendly, happy and caring person.  He was a wonderful father and grandfather.  He will be missed greatly.

Hugo is survived by his daughter, Carla Adame and her husband, Miguel Adame, and his son, Hugo Barillas and his wife, Claudia Barillas, and his grandchildren: Gabriel, Savannah, Ethan, Axel and Nicholas.

There will be a service on Friday, November 20th, 2020 from 6 to 8pm (Mountain Time) and due to state regulations and limitations, Hugo's family welcomes you to join via live-stream (link is below).
