Humberto Sergio Calvillo

Humberto Sergio Calvillo, 83, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on March 23, 2019.

Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2019 from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 11am. Both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.

We are gathered to give one last goodbye to our brother Humerto Sergio Calvillo, who was originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico. He was the youngest of five brothers and sisters in his family. He was coddled by all his siblings because he was the youngest, and at the same time they all felt like parental figures and guided him, this is why they all shared the deepest love. His only sister Ofelia loved him as if he was her own son, in these moments she has lost a brother son. Sergio came to the United States as a teenager, arriving to the state of California where he remained and made a life when he got married. His three children, Tere, Rosalinda and the youngest Sergio came from his marriage. Later in life came a heartbreaking separation, Sergio's mother who loved him so much, remained by his side giving him all of her understanding and love. One day, death too took her from him and again he suffered. As time went by, he met who would be his life partner, Angeles, with whom he married and remained side by side because they were deeply in love. They made their story and life together until fate separated them, because death is the only thing that could keep them apart. Let us remember him as the happy, joyful, always chipper man he was; he enjoyed dancing, traveling and simply enjoying life. Rest in peace good friend, good son, good brother, good father, good uncle and wonderful husband. You have left a great void in our home, you will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. Rest in peace my love.

Estamos reunidos para darle el ultimo adios a nuestro hermano Humberto Sergio Calvillo, siendo originario de Aguas Calientes, Mexico. Siendo el hermano mas pequeño de cinco de la familia donde fue muy concentido por sus hermanos ya que eran mayores y al mismo tiempo se sentian sus padres y lo corregian. Es por esto que tenian un cariño muy profundo entre ellos y su unica hermana Ofelia lo queria como un hijo. En estos momentos ella perdio un hermano hijo. Sergio vino a los Estados Unidos siendo el un adolecente, llegando asi al estado de California donde permanecio e hizo su vida al contraer matrimonio, del cual nacieron sus tres hijos, Tere, Rosalinda y el mas pequeño Sergio. Luego vino una dolorosa separacion y su mama que lo amaba tanto, permanecio a su lado dandole toda su compencion y cariño. Un dia tambien la muerte se la arrebato y nuevamente sufrio. Al transcurrir el tiempo y ya mas tarde conocio a la que seria su compañera de su vida, Angeles, con la cual se caso y permanecio siempre a su lado porque se amaron mucho. Haciendo asi su historia hasta que el destino los separo, pues solo la muerte lo podia hacer. Recordemoslo pues como el era, alegre, siempre contento, le gustaba bailar, pasear y disfrutar. Descansa en paz buen amigo, buen hijo, buen hermano, buen padre, buen tio y maravilloso esposo. Has dejado un gran vacio en nuestro hogar, siempre estaras en mi corazon y en mi pensamiento. Descansa en paz amor mio.
