Ian Michael Evans

Ian Michael Evans, 18, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away on October 9, 2019. He was born on August 17, 2001 in Englewood, the son of Jason and Jennifer (Underwood) Evans. He attended schools in both Hawaii and Colorado, earning his GED in April 2019. Ian was currently working fulltime as a Manager at Dairy Queen in Arvada. He planned on attending college in Spring 2020 and wanted to dedicate his life to helping troubled teens.

Ian was athletic and tried out all different sports as a kid; baseball was his favorite. He loved video games and played for hours with his dad, sisters, and friends. Ian was a talented artist and loved to draw and create music beats. He recently produced his own videos that he posted to his YouTube channel. Once Ian picked up a Kendama in Hawaii, he never put it down. He loved to ride his scooter at the skate park. Ian enjoyed reading and liked to watch scary movies. He was a cooking enthusiast, loved spicy food challenges, and enjoyed his nightly milkshakes. Ian called both Hawaii and Colorado home.

Ian is survived by his parents Jason and Jennifer of Colorado Springs and his two sisters, Allie (13) and Cambree (11). He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Kelly and JoAnn Underwood, of Arvada, Colorado; and his paternal grandmother, Shawna Clark of Ashton, Idaho. He is survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends.

A Celebration of Ian's Life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003. There will be a public visitation one hour prior to the service. The family extends a warm welcome to all that would like to share a few memories of Ian. The family requests that guests attending Ian's services wear purple in honor of his life.
