Imelda Kaminski, 87, of Arvada passed away peacefully on May 26, 2010. Imelda was preceded in death by her husband Clifford T. Kaminski and is survived by her daughters Jane (Jerry) Callaway of Arvada, Colorado and Natalie Kaminski (Kathryn Norris) of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren Jamie Teti (Rigo Salazar) of Arvada, Colorado, Jon (Leslie) Callaway of Arvada, Colorado and Jacob (Jennifer) Callaway of Arvada, Colorado; great-grandchildren Brandon and Sabrina Teti, Nikolas Salazar and Jordan and Madison Callaway; and brother, Cletus (Sally) Kaup of Denver, Colorado. After graduating from St. Catherine's School of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska, Imelda moved to Denver and pursued her nursing career for over 40 years. She retired from Western Electric as an Occupational Nurse in 1987. Her interests include gardening and socializing with friends and family. She was best known for her garden and always looking after her neighbors and friends. Visitation to be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. Funeral Mass to be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4380 Utica Street, in Denver, Colorado. Interment follows at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery ~ Pavilion ""C"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Imelda's name to Collier Hospice, 3210 Lutheran Parkway, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.
