Iona Gaston

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Iona Jean Gaston. Born 11/03/1935 to Elmer and Clytie Fenwick in Big Springs Nebraska. Passed 1/03/2023 in Loveland, CO. Iona met the love of her life James Author Gaston and soon had their first date at the high school sweetheart dance. They were married on July 19th, 1953. Over the next years they had five children and ended up in Denver where they lived for over sixty years. She especially loved music, dolls, nature and colors. These were reflected in her business and crafts. Iona is predeceased by her daughter Tamara Jean and her spouse James. She is survived by her 4 remaining children, Rob, Bill, Terri, Shane, a sister Connie Goldsmith as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 11:00am at  Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229, followed by a celebration of life reception.
