Irene H. Rudolph

RUDOLPH, IRENE H. Passed away October 28, 2012. Irene was proud to be a native Coloradoan growing up in Douglas County, graduating from DCHS. She spent many years working in the DPS system retiring from Boettcher School. In retirement, Irene and her husband Ray enjoyed their winters as Texas snowbirds where they met many new friends. They also traveled extensively in the U.S. and overseas - a favorite place was the Bahamas. An avid golfer, Irene played regularly in ladies golf leagues well past the age of 75. Always fun, Irene made friends of all ages throughout her life. Family was very important to Irene. She and Ray had four children: Sharon (Mark) Simmons of Fort Wayne, IN., Doug, Dick (Gloria) and Kurt (Cindy), all of Denver. They sur-vive along with eight grandchildren, 16 great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by Ray, her husband of 57 years. Her brothers also preceded her. Visitation 3:00 to 5:00 PM Wednesday, October 31 Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Thursday, November 1 Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
