Irmalee Sedar

Irmalee Street Sedar, born September 17, 1925 in Douglas, WY; passed away February 16, 2019 in Loveland, CO at the age of 93. Beloved wife of Anthony M. (Tony) Sedar and loving mother of Robert (Beverly Ryon), Regina (Gene Kelsey), Nancy (Ira Sherman), Rebecca (George Kanada), Susan ( Michael Despain). Grandmother of ten and Great Grandmother of eight.
Irmalee and Tony met at the University of Wyoming and were married in 1947, moving to Denver in 1949. Irmalee graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA in Education.
Irmalee was an active member of the Tri Delta sorority and later in Tri Psi. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Irmalee was an expert seamstress and had her own business for over twenty years creating beautiful custom wedding dresses.

Irmalee was preceded in death by her husband Anthony M. Sedar, brother William A. Street, mother Regina Quinn Street Aydelotte, and father William B. Street.

Irmalee was interned at Fort Logan next to her husband on February 28, 2019.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home 11150 East Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, Colorado 80014. Please come and share your memories and stories of Irmalee's life.
Relatives and friends are welcome to continue the Celebration of Irmalee’s life at Bob Sedar’s Residence on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 3:30 am after the service for an additional gathering.
