Isabel Edith Murphy Wolf Born Aug 4, 1920, died Jan 6, 2011. Preceded in death by husband Harry A. Wolf. Survived by children Harry L. Wolf (Mary) of Denver; Edith Ann Michael (Dean) of Frankfort, MI; Arlene Wolf of Salmon, ID; Bonnie Sylvester (Tom) in LasVegas, NV; & Barry Wolf (Kathy)of Arvada, CO. Oldest of 5 children with one surviving brother, Robert L. Murphy of Denver, & brother-in-law Richard Wolf of Centennial, CO. Her legacy includes 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, & many nieces and nephews. She helped her dad haul coal when little, rode a horse to school K-2nd, graduated from Manual High in 1938, & married Harry Wolf in June 1939. She worked as a shipping clerk, insurance adjuster, & for dental surgeons & urologists. She volunteered as a hospital Gray Lady, for the American Hemophilia Fund, American Cancer Society and Muscular Dystrophy Fund. She was a lifetime member of the African Violet Society of America, was a national judge, & past president of the local chapter. She was a member of the Colorado Bell Chapter, American Bell Association, & the Denver Retired Fireman's Association. She was a very proud 3rd generation Coloradan who was a world traveler in her later years visiting family as well as new places. She was loved dearly by her family & all who knew her & will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Denver Firefighter's Museum (1326 Tremont Pl, Denver 80204) or to the charity of your choice. Memorial service at a later date.
