Isabella Hoffman

Isabella Hoffman passed away on September 30, 2009 at Highlands Ranch, Colorado at the home of her daughter, Lynne Baker. Mrs. Hoffman was born May 15, 1921 at Hill of Beath, Scotland to her parents Samuel and Isabel Condie. She immigrated to Wyoming from Scotland, with her parents, when she was five years old. She loved teaching her children and nieces Scottish songs and instilled in all of them a love of her homeland. Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her daughter Lynne (John) Baker and her son George (Elena) Toly of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Melanie Daly of Evergreen, Colorado, Brooke Baker of Aberfeldy, Scotland and Scott Moeller of Broomfield, Colorado. She is also survived by four great-grandsons Jack, Liam and Matthew Daly and Jackson Peake; and her brother Donald condie of Billings, Montana. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews spread throughout the west. She was preceded in death by husbands William Toly, Joseph Salvatico and Donald Hoffman; brother, Malcolm Condie; sisters Margaret Korogi and Janet Korogi; and sisters-in-law Violet Condie and Frances Reuter. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street) in Centennial, Colorado.
