Isabelle Jacquelynn Barnett (Ingram), was born 1-22-28 in Wasson, ILL
to John Harvey and Francis Hall Ingram. Isabelle was the youngest of 8 children. All of her brothers and sisters have preceded her in death.
Growing up, Isabelle loved all animals, especially horses. She was proud of being a âtom boyâ and often boasted of being able to outrun her 5 older brothers.
Isabelle attended nursing school at Deaconess in Evansville, IN, graduating in 1949. Later that same year, she relocated to Colorado and married Jack Barnett on September 23,1949. Isabelle worked as an RN, and moved frequently with her husband for his job. They finally settled in Littleton, CO, where they raised their three children.
Isabelle worked as a volunteer in the school clinic and library and was also a Girl Scout Leader.
In her later years, Isabelle spent summers on the Lake of the Ozarks on a houseboat. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her 5 grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Littleton Christian Church (Valley View Christian Church).
Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband Jack. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Susan), of Tucson, AZ, and Jeff (Cheryl), of Littleton CO; daughter Becky (Brian), of Littleton CO; 5 grandchildren, Keith, Katy (Ryan), Brenden, Ian and Amy. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
