Jack W. Feurtado, aged 87, passed away on October 24, 2019, in Parker, Colorado. Jack was born in Marshall, Texas on April 21, 1932, to Mary Grace and Earl Walter Feurtado. Jack attended the Southern Nazarene University, and University of Oklahoma, where he obtained his Master's degree in Accounting. On January 23, 1954, Jack married Violet Feurtado in La Junta, Colorado and they proceeded to spend 65 wonderful years together. Jack made a career as a Certified Professional Accountant, who owned and operated, âJack W. Feurtado, CPAâ. He was a long-time member and president of the, Colorado Arabian Horse Club and he spent time as a horse breeder. Jack was also an owner and operator of a private airplane.
Jack is survived by his wife, Violet Feurtado; his children: Karen (Brad) Fosnot, Jack (Mary) Feurtado II, and Kristin (Shane) McPherson; his grandchildren: Stacia Fosnot, Bradley Fosnot, Jacob McPherson and Nicholas McPherson. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Grace and Earl Walter Feurtado, and his brother, Earl W. Feurtado.
Memorial donations can be made in Jack's honor, to the Parkinson Association of the Rockies, 1325 South Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80222.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 8, 2020. Place, and time to be determined.
