Jack M. Horner

January 1, 1931 — April 13, 2017

Jack was born and raised in Denver where he attended East High School. He graduated from The University of Colorado where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Jack married the love of his life, Nita, in 1955. He was a member of the 120th Fighter Squadron of the Colorado Air National Guard & retired as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He then worked as a pilot for United Airlines for 25 years. Jack loved the outdoors & was an avid runner, biker, hiker & skier. Jack, Nita & their family lived in the house Jack built in Dumont, CO. They travelled extensively throughout the world & lived life to the fullest. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Nita, children; Lisa (Jamie) Pobrislo, Randy (Julia) Horner, grandchildren; Courtney, Stephany & Brittany, & three nephews. He will be deeply missed & always admired for the fine man he was. The family will hold a private memorial. Donations may be made in Jack's memory to the charity of your choice.
