Jack Ora King, 78 years of age, of Denver, Colorado, retired Denver Fire Department Assitant Chief, passed away on June 13, 2012. Born May 28th, 1934 in Grand Island Nebraska, died June 13, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. Jack was a veteran of the Korean War, honorably discharged with a purple heart and a retired Denver Assistant Fire Chief. Jack's hobbies were golfing, hunting, fishing, travelling and spending time with his family. He married Joyce Brehm in Raton, New Mexico on July 1, 1955. Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce: Children Keri Myers, Mike King and Greg King; Grandchildren Kellie and Ryan Myers, Alycia, Carleena and Natheena King, Candice Jantzen and Christine King; Great grandchildren Blayne Olson, Skylar Jantzen, Dominic and Carlos Soto; Sisters Betty McClean, Bonnie Schroeder and Helen Supan. A Visitation for Jack will begin at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00am both on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Rd), Aurora, Colorado. An Interment Service at 12:15pm will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
