Jack Louis Proctor was born December 4th, 1943 to Jack and Mattie Proctor in Asheville, NC. He was the oldest of 8 children. He attended Stephens Lee High School and was part of the graduating class of 1961. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Airforce and was honorably discharged. After the service he moved to Knoxville, TN and worked for ALCOA Aluminum Company. He retired in 1998 after 33 years with the company. He moved to Denver after retirement with his wife, Carolyn, who he was married to for over 45 years. He made sure to let everyone know she is his favorite lady. He loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He loved working on cars, and watching westerns and playing golf. He died November 17, 2021 of natural causes.
Jack is survived by his beautiful wife Carolyn of Denver, CO. His daughters: Angela Satterfield of Knoxville, TN, Jacquelyn Strickland-Flack (Jose) of Knoxville, TN, Michelle Little of Cary, NC, Felicia Proctor (Bishmi) of Aurora, CO, and Jazzmyn Proctor-Smith (Sean) of Denver, CO; honorary daughters; his niece Zakiya Proctor, and family friend Nicole Gray; 13 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; His Siblings: Wilma Procter, Timothy Proctor, Rosalind Robertson (William), Wayne Proctor (Bonnie), Liletta Proctor; along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his Father Jack Proctor, his Mother Mattie Lonas, his step father Clarence Lonas, and his brothers Robert E. Proctor and Clyde Proctor.
He will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado.
