Jack was born in Amarillo, TX to Edna and Fred Seale on December 27, 1927. A proud graduate of Amarillo High School, Jack excelled in the classroom and on the football field. Returning to Amarillo, he married Polly Gene Lowe, the love of his life for 71 years in September of 1947.

He pursued a successful and diversified career in commercial and residential real estate. As a man committed to making a difference in his community, he also pursued politics, and was elected mayor of Amarillo at 32- the youngest mayor of a large city in the country at the time. He also ran a highly competitive campaign to represent his district in the United States Congress in 1962.

He is survived by his wife, Polly Seale, his children Pamela Kiker, Rosemary Harris, David and Kelly Seale, Rosemary's spouse Marvin Harris, David's spouse Stephanie Pastore, his grandchildren John David Kiker, Christopher Kiker, Polly Gilligan, Adrienne Barrett, Jordan Harris, Ashley Sakker and his great grandchildren Jack, Julianne, Jeb, Hailey, Matthew, Spencer, Tildsley, Graydon, Will, Austin, Sophia and Caleb.

Jack is preceded in death by his mother Edna and father Fred, his son James Patrick Seale, his sisters Peggy Amerson and Dana Watson, his son-in-law David Kiker and his mother and father-in-law Rose and Al Chesser.

He continued his commitment to service of others throughout his life, including his long tenure as a Mason. He was a gentle giant of a man, devoted to his faith, his family and to anyone in need of help. He lived with purpose, with a belief in doing what was right and with love for his country. We will always remember his country-wide smile and his unending love.
