Jacob, 71, of Denver, Colorado passed away April 5, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Robert, Shauna, and Danie; grandchildren, Joseph, Alicia, Larry, Michael, Christopher, Kristine, Armon, Joshua, and Savana; and siblings, Ida, Esther, Ruthee, Betty, Tom, DeeDee, and Tim. Preceded in death by his mother, Sally; father, Jose; and son, Michael. Jacob retired from the US Air Force in 1971 as a Staff Sergeant. He was very proud and loved his years of service in the Air Force. He retired from the US Postal Service in 2010. He spent his last four years enjoying time with his family, crossword puzzles, listening to his music, talking to his siblings on the phone, running his grandkids to activities, helping his neighbors in many ways, taking friends to appointments, trying out new restaurants with Maria, and keeping everything running smoothly for Maria and himself. These are the activities that he truly enjoyed. He will be fondly and lovingly remembered by all that knew him. Visitation and viewing, Monday, April 13, 2015, 5-8 PM with Funeral Service, Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 12:30 PM, all at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. Interment with Full Honors immediately follows at 2:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
