Jacob Vigil

Jacob Phillip Eufilio Vigil was born on October 29th, 1942 and passed away on December 24th, 2020 at the age of 78.

He was preceded by his father and mother Emma.

Jacob is survived by his brother Bob and sister Mary Lou; his ex-wife Geneva; his children Emma Vigil, Monica Vigil, Julie A. (Luis) Morales, Michael (Lola) Vigil, Corina (Floyd) Archuleta and Ericka Vigil. He also has 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Jacob served in the United States Navy for 7 years and he did two tours during the Vietnam Era.

Jacob always strived to expand his knowledge and skills. He studied Commercial Arts in college and painted using watercolors, oils and acrylics.

His hobbies were writing poems in English and Spanish, and he loved reciting them to you. Jacob did wood carvings, minor engraving, calligraphy, and origami. Jacob was very meticulous with his work. He was always reading books and magazines to learn new things and to see what was coming in the future.

Jacob also loved singing and memorizing bible verses along with reciting them.
